The results of the ‘Bobo Doll Experiment’ created a surge of interest into the possible correlation between media violence and violent behaviour. Meyers (2002) conducted a study on the effects of violent video games and violent television (T.V) programs on primary school boys. The school boys were divided into non-violent and violent conditions; watching a violent or non-violent T.V program, playing a violent or non-violent video game or playing a game and watching a T.V program thereafter (Meyers 2002).
